Tai Chi Classes
Energize, Rebalance and Strengthen your Body and Mind with Tai Chi
I teach a short form of Yang style Tai Chi that consists of 24 movements.
This form was developed in China by group of Tai Chi masters, among them Li Tian Ji, in the 1950’s, who created it so that people could learn and benefit from it relatively quickly.
I learned this form from Dr. Jiliang Liu of Great Neck, NY.
If you enjoy learning something deeply and in detail, you will enjoy my teaching style which involves focused instruction, body awareness, body mechanics and structural positioning. The instruction in this form is for health and improving the mind/body relationship, not for martial application. That said, the structural requirements taught through this form can serve as a foundation for martial arts application.
